The family of Joan O’Connor (nee Campion) is saddened to announce her passing after a courageous battle with bone cancer at the age of 80. Joan is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Frank O’Connor, and their four children Brian, Kevin, Caryn and Tracey.

Joan was also loving Mother-in Law to Sally O'Connor and Barbara Agoglia, and devoted Grandmother to Delaney, Finnegan, William, Sam, and Tess.

Raised in Woodside, Queens, Joan is predeceased by her parents William and Elizabeth Campion, her sisters Ethel Prinz and Claire Campion Weiss, and her brother Robert Campion.
Joan and Frank had their first date on St. Patrick’s Day, 1952, the same day she would be called home 66 years later.

Joan was an inspiration throughout her battle with cancer, living a full and rewarding life until the end.
