In loving memory of Andrew Graham McDicken who passed away on March 20, 2022, after a steady decline in his health due to Parkinson’s disease. Andrew was born on April 5, 1939, in Glasgow, Scotland and this is where he graduated with a degree in engineering and started a family with his first wife Edith McDicken. In 1968 they immigrated to the United States of America with their two son David and Robert. Later on, welcomed a daughter Tanyia and son Andrew. In his spare time, he assisted the Gordon Highlanders Pipe band and worked to bring the Scottish Highland games to Long Island. Both of which he was very proud of. Andrew went on to marry his beloved wife Mary McDicken and helped raise her three sons- Lugi, Joseph and Gregory Pandolfi as his own. Dearly loved by his family he is survived by six of his seven children- Lugi (Kathleen) Pandolfi, Joseph (Marsha) Pandolfi, Gregory (Barbara) Pandolfi, David McDicken, Robert (Joan) McDicken and Tanyia (Andrew) Law and in addition many grandchildren. Andrew will be buried with his beloved Mary at the Nassau Knolls Cemetery in Port Washington. In lieu of flowers his family is requesting donations in memory of Andrew to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.
