It is with deep regret & great sadness...

We lost our oldest & dearest cowgirl Annette Nicholson last Thursday, October 17th, 2024. We believe she passed on peacefully in her sleep... Most probably jumping Shenanigans or Storny once again.

The visitation will be on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545. A burial will follow at 12:30 PM at Brookville Cemetery, NY.

Everyone loved Annette... her generosity, wit, humor, -she had an uncanny ability to make you laugh & knew the exact right words to say to comfort you or offer support. Fiercely independent, stubborn, so kind, caring with a heart of gold... Her zest for life, horses, animals & people at 85 years young was amazing. Annette brought light & love to all those who had the pleasure of her friendship... If laughter is the best medicine... She was an awesome doctor!!! She touched so many hearts... We are all so grateful to have enjoyed her spirit all these years...

If Annette was a horse? She'd be the horse with fire in her belly, probably a chestnut mare with all the stories that fit a chestnut mare...

She lived a full life finding great pleasure in the simple things... She went to heaven wearing her green Shenanigans sweatshirt - so we know for sure she had a beautiful ride.
