Arlene Rosetta Dugar

June 20, 1953 — May 28, 2024

Arlene Dugar, 70, passed away on May 28, 2024.

Arlene was born in June 1953 in Queens NY, to Albert Dugar and Rose Goodsell. She was the fourth of

seven children.

Our beloved Arlene was a light in this world, a literal angel on earth. She was the type of person that

would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it and took care of everyone around her. It didn't

matter if you were family or a stranger, Arlene was there for you in whatever way you needed her to be

every time.

Arlene is remembered as a nurturing soul, always making room in her heart and home for one more. She

was an active pillar in her community, serving as a board member for the Economic Opportunity

Commission in Glen Cove helping to plan and execute many activities and community initiatives.

Arlene dedicated 27 years of her professional life to serving as a Payroll Administrator at SCO Family of

Services, retiring in 2023. Throughout her career, she utilized her innate compassion and desire to

support others to aid her colleagues.

Arlene's memory will continue to live on through her children Elisa Dugar, David Dugar, Joyce Dugar,

Charliese McCullough, and Kandese McCullough; her grandchildren Darian Murphy, Cheryse Johnson,

Davone Dugar, Deja Dugar, and Charles McCullough III; her sisters Patricia Quaider, Joyce Dugar and

Estella Dugar; as well as many nephews, nieces, and friends.

Arlene is preceded in death by her brothers Peter Quaider and Olin Quaider, her sister Helen Dugar and

her son, Charles McCullough Jr.

To honor Arlene's request, there will be no funeral service.
