Audrey Rydzewski

RYDZEWSKI, Audrey (Nee Maas) at the age of 89, left us peacefully on March 5, 2025, after a long 22-year battle with breast cancer. Having grown up in Sea Cliff, she attended Sea Cliff school districts where she met her high school sweetheart Joseph. Audrey was a devoted and loving wife for over 69 years.

She lived a purposeful life impacting the community with her kindness and contributions. Her vitality remained after retiring from the Locust Valley School District where she continued devoting her time volunteering over 50 years at the Grenville Baker Boys & Girls Club, The Reformed Church, St Luke's Church & Glen Cove Hospital. In her remaining days she continued to be active at the Locust Valley Garden Club and Member of the American Legion Post Auxiliary 962.

Audrey is survived by her loving husband Joseph, daughter Susan (John) Grandchildren Kevin (Rina) and Kasey and God Daughter Jean Chapman-Herold. She joins her brother Donald and son Richard up in heaven.
