Caren Sichel

Caren Sichel ,68, passed away on December 31st at her home in Sea Cliff, New York. Caren was the wife of Howard Sichel and they were married 39 years. Caren leaves behind her children, Lauren and her husband Rich, Jordan and his wife Alyssa and Jared and his fiance Masha. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Ryan, Ella, Eliana and Nick, who were all her greatest joy.

Caren raised her family in Port Washington, New York and moved to Sea Cliff in the last few years, to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She had strength beyond words, a heart of gold and loved the simple things in life. The generosity and care she showed for all around her will never be forgotten. To say she will be greatly missed is an understatement.

The Funeral will be held at Whitting Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 at 12 pm, burial to follow at Locust Valley Cemetery. The family will sit Shiva at 42 Ransom Avenue in Sea Cliff immediately following until 7pm. On Thursday they will sit Shiva from 10-1 and 3-6 and on Friday from 10-1. In lieu of flowers please donate, in her name, to an organization close to Caren’s heart, Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
