Carol Hatch

Hatch, Carol E., age 68, died peacefully April 27,2012, surrounded by her family.
Carol was born December 10,1943, in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and
Margaret Shefers. Her father was a liaison supervisor for AT&T and was a
Dedicated employee, retiring after 47 years of service. Her mom was a full-time
mother and was blessed with three daughters, Carol being the youngest She was
pre-deceased by sisters, Peggy Hasay and Joan Bianco. Carol moved to Locust
Valley in 1946 and was a resident there since. She was a member of the Class of
1961, the first graduating class of Locust Valley High School. Carol is survived
by her husband, William R. Hatch, and was blessed with daughter and son-in-
law, Sharon A. Hatch and Christopher Robbins, daughter and son-in-law,
Lisa and Richard Ugolini, six wonderful grandchildren, - Christian and Amy
Ugolini, Cody Robbins, Catelin Perez, Cjira Presland, Caleb Robbins - and four
precious great-grandchildren - Logan, Jack, Lara and Cassius, all who brought
so much joy to her life. Carol graduated from Claremont Secretarial School in
1963 and held various positions throughout her career including bank teller,
personal secretary to BT Eden of Mill Neck and executive assistant at CMP
Publications where she eventually retired. She was a dedicated and loving wife,
mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Visiting
