Charles T. Davies

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Davies, a devoted family man, dedicated community servant, and cherished friend, who left us peacefully on December 11, 2024.

Charlie was the beloved husband of Sally, his life partner and best friend for over 60 years. Together, they built a loving family, raising their two children, Andrew (Carol) Davies and Holly Davies (Adrian Spidle), with boundless love and devotion. Charlie was a proud and doting grandfather to William Spidle, Meg Spidle, and Drew Davies, who brought him endless joy. He was also a loving brother to Marylou Rowley and George Davies Jr., and a steadfast friend to all who knew him.

A pillar of the Sea Cliff community, Charlie dedicated over six decades of service to the Sea Cliff Fire Department, where he served with honor as a volunteer firefighter and as a Ex-Chief. His commitment to the community extended to the North Shore Kiwanis Club, where he led as a Distinguished Past President, and to the Village of Sea Cliff, where he served as a trustee, contributing tirelessly to its betterment.

Charlie will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, infectious smile, and a heart full of generosity. His legacy of service, love, and friendship will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Rest in peace, Charlie. You will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
