FLETCHER – Douglas Peter, Jr., of Glen Cove, NY passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022, at the age of 71. Beloved husband of Kathleen. Loving father of Douglas (April) and Justin (Susan). Cherished grandpa and peepa of Reilly, Chase, and Addison. Dear brother of Christine (James) Balchunas, and the late Karen (Robert) Zacharis, and Mark Fletcher. Also, survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation on Wednesday, April 20 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545. Mass on Thursday, April 21 at 10 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Glen Cove, NY. Burial will follow at Locust Valley Cemetery, Locust Valley, NY. Donations can be made in his name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
