Edward Armstrong

November 24, 1934 — December 19, 2022

Edward Armstrong, of Locust Valley,

NY, passed away on 12/19/2022 at

North Shore Hospital. Edward was born

on November 24, 1934 to Frank

Armstrong and Margaret Kennedy in

Mount Kisco, NY . In 1938, the family

moved to Nassau County where he later

attended Glen Cove schools. In 1955, he

was inducted into the US Army where he

served active duty for two years, and

then in the Reserves until 1963. He

received a good conduct medal upon

discharge.

Edward worked for ExxonMobil driving

a fuel truck for many years.

In 1985, he moved two houses to his

new homestead on Peacock Lane and

established Armstrong Farm where he

raised laying hens, selling farm fresh

eggs to local businesses and customers

for many years.

Edward was predeceased by his

parents, his former wife, Eileen Casey

and his three brothers, Francis, Arthur,

and Robert Armstrong . He is survived by

many nieces and nephews, including

Blake and Nicole Armstrong who cared

for him in his home for several years.
