Martin and devoted brother of the late Dorothy K. Martin. Loving father of Kathy (Andrew), Edward (Cathy) and Eric. Beloved grandfather of Brian, Michael, Julia and Tommy. Loving companion of Carolyn Steinbeck. A WW II veteran who served in the Pacific Theater. A Passionate American, Yankees fan and West Point football supporter. Former semi-pro pitcher in Glen Cove and Sea Cliff in the 1940's and 1950's. Had professional try outs with both the New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox. Graduate of CW Post College. Lifetime employee of Long Island Lighting Company. Viewing Thursday 7-9, Friday 2-5 and 7-9, Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY.
