Filippo Tiberio

Filippo Tiberio, 92, of Old Brookville, NY, passed away on February 17, 2024, in Manhasset, NY.

Filippo is survived by his beloved wife, Luigia Tiberio of 68 years. Loving Father of Philip Tiberio Jr. (deceased), Peter Tiberio, Maria Marciano (Antonio). Nonno of Laura Recine (Sergio), Justin Marciano, Natalie Marciano. Bisnonno of Mia and Ella Recine.

Beloved son of Pietro and Antonia Tiberia (deceased). Beloved brother to Vincenza (Sisto) (deceased), Anna (Giuseppe) (deceased), Agostino (Giovanna, deceased), Annunziata (Cesare, deceased), Francesco (Phyllis).

Filippo immigrated to the United States from Italy and became a citizen in 1955. He was an expert mason and built a successful business doing work from the North Shore of Long Island to the Hamptons.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 22, from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm at Whitting Funeral Home in Glen Head.

Funeral Mass is Friday, February 23 at 10:00am at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Roslyn, NY.

Interment at Nassau Knolls Cemetery in Port Washington, NY.

Donations may be made to the American Heart Association in Filippo's name.
