Fredrica "Ricky" Mack passed away peacefully on December 15, 2021, with her loving family by her side.
Ricky was born to the late Remington and Virginia Furlong on December 10, 1940, in Albany, NY. She graduated from North Shore High School in 1958 and received her undergraduate degree from Colby Sawyer College in 1960. She married the late Robert "Bob" Mack in 1961 and together raised three children with love and devotion in Glen Head, NY.
Ricky enjoyed a successful career as a real estate agent/broker for over 20 years and eventually started her own real estate company "Mack Real Estate" in Sea Cliff, NY. Her passion for real estate continued after moving to Englewood Florida, where Ricky and Bob enjoyed many fun times with good friends at the Edgewater Club in Lemon Bay Isles. Ricky leaves behind beautiful memories of time spent with family and friends at her home in Canada, her home in Englewood Florida and of course her many years growing up in Sea Cliff and raising her family in Glen Head NY.
Ricky is pre-deceased by her husband of 50 years, Bob Mack. She is survived by her children Beth Izzo (husband Tom), of Moriches NY, Robert Mack (wife Debbie) of Levittown NY, and Rich Mack (wife Victoria) of East Northport NY. She is also survived by her brother Wayne Furlong (wife Sharon) as well as her six grandchildren: TJ, Danielle, Timothy, Samantha, Alexis and Madison along with many loving nieces and nephews. Ricky will be greatly missed by Jake, her beloved maltese, who became her true companion since her husband passed in 2011. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New York Cancer Foundation Advocates of Hope. The Grateful Patient program is an opportunity for those who have received treatment, care or simply want to help support others. It can be made in honor of a loved and each gift will be helping the New York Cancer Foundation invest in a patients' future.
