Gretchen Gunter

Gunter, Gretchen of Sea Cliff, NY on Feb. 10, 2020. Born Oct. 6, 1963, Gretchen attended United Cerebral Palsy Nassau in Roosevelt, NY from 1965-2013. Gretchen epitomized pure unconditional love. Her energy and spirit exuded complete joy. She always greeted you as you walked through the door with absolute excitement, love and happiness that made all feel so special. "We carry you in our hearts." Beloved daughter of the late Natalie and Linwood Gunter. Loving sister of William Gunter (Rose), Gregory Gunter (Amy), Nathaniel Gunter, Kathryn Gunter, Virginia Planke, Amy Claire Gunter and the late Jesse Mealing, Linwood Gunter, III (Rhett) and Veralynn Maddox. Dear niece of the late Kathryn A. Mealing. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews; Annette, Marley, Samuel, Joseph, Jacob, Alexandria and a host of cousins and friends. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 15, 2020 at 3 pm at the United Methodist Church of Sea Cliff, Sea Cliff, NY. In lieu of flowers donations may be to Hospice Care Network or the United Methodist Church of Sea Cliff in memory of Gretchen.
