Henry Victor Colella

Colella, Henry V. of Locust Valley, NY on Feb. 25, 2016. Born in Boston, MA to the late Gennaro and Dominica. Beloved husband of the late Cathleen (nee Battles). They were married in Boston on Aug 20, 1960 and she died on Apr. 21, 2015 after over 55 years of marriage. He is survived by his daughter: Cathleen Anne Graham and her husband Gordon, Jr.; and their 2 children: Olivia Catherine, 21 and Harrison Stuart, 19 all of Locust Valley, NY and both grandchildren are attending Trinity College in Hartford, CT; 3 siblings: Gerry, Dan and Sophie. And numerous nieces and nephews. His primary occupation was Director of Special Education, Nassau BOCES, Nassau County, NY from 1968-1996. He was also an assistant professor in at Boston College, Chestnut Hill, MA. He also served as Assistant Professor at Long Island University; C.W. Post, teaching related courses in Special Education and Administration for over 20 years. 1980 to 2000.
