A World War II Veteran who was assigned to the 509th Composite Group stationed in Tinian and loaded "Little Boy" onto the Enola Gay that dropped the bomb on Hiroshima. Visiting was Friday 7-9 pm at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY. Funeral Service Saturday 10 am at the funeral home. Interment Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
