Jesse Smith

Our Beloved son, Jesse Blair Smith, has passed and is remembered by his parents, Cynthia Blair, of Stony Brook, NY, and Richard Smith, of Berlin, MA. Jesse was born in NYC and moved to Sea Cliff, NY, in 1987. He attended Sea Cliff Elementary and North Shore High Schools, furthering his education with a BA from the University of Vermont and a Law Degree from Hofstra University. Jesse was in private practice in Astoria, Queens, until his death on January 12, 2015.
Those who knew Jesse will remember his alluring charm, wit, intelligence and good-natured generosity. Larger than life, he touched many and will be missed. Nothing can reveal the magnitude of our loss save the sharing of memories with those of us touched by his beautiful spirit.
A Memorial will be held at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545 www.whitting.com, on Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 12:00-2:00pm, with a remembrance gathering to be held at St. Luke's Parish Hall, 253 Glen Ave., Sea Cliff, NY 11579, from 2:30-5:00pm, where an open-mike will be available for sharing memories.
