Seaman, Joan of Glenwood Landing, NY on October 10, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late George.  Loving mother of Patricia Meilinger (James) and Marjorie Loughran-Miserendino (the late Steven).  Cherished grandmother of Steven and step-grandmother of Jesse.  Dear sister of Patti Smith.  Dear aunt of the late Glenn Pearsall.  She is also survived by the family of her late husband George and many other loving family and friends.  Visiting Fri. 2-5 & 7-9 pm at Whitting Funeral Home 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY  11545 www.whitting.com  Funeral Service Sat 10am at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Roslyn Cemetery, Roslyn, NY.
