John J. Damiano

John J. Damiano of Glen Head passed away on the morning of Dec. 15, 2022, after a 3-year battle with pancreatic cancer.

John was born in Manhattan and raised in Beechurst, NY, growing into a man of deep faith.

John left his position as Managing Director of Engineering for the Tri-State Region with Cushman & Wakefield upon his diagnosis in 2019.

He loved his family, music (he was a drummer), being called “Luke,” and making dad jokes.

John was predeceased by his father, Joseph, mother, Rosemarie, and sister, Lynn, and leaves behind his loving wife of 34 years, Jessica, and his beloved daughters, Justine and Julia.

Visitation on Sunday, Dec. 18 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545.

Funeral mass on Monday, Dec. 19 at 10:00 AM at St. Boniface Martyr Church, Sea Cliff, NY.

Burial of ashes on Saturday, Apr. 22, at 11:00 AM at Locust Valley Cemetery, NY.
