John Koloski Sr, of Bayville, NY; formerly from Sea Cliff, NY and before that Glenwood Landing, NY. Passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 4 at the home of his loving and caring daughter, Diane Symanski and surrounded by his loving family. He was 95. John was a devoted husband and family man. He was predeceased by his wives, Edna Koloski (Nee Famalette), and Helen Koloski (Nee Reynolds). He is survived by his loving children, Diane Symanski and her husband Mike of Bayville, NY, Douglas Koloski and his wife Janet of Red Bank, NJ, and John Koloski Jr, and his wife Robin of Graysville, Pa., 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. John was a graduate of Glen Cove High School, and a loyal employee of Grumman Aircraft with a career for 45 years in the Human Resources Dept. John was the Business Manager and assistant coach of the famous Grumman Yankees, and the head coach of the infamous Mom Longo's softball team of Sea Cliff, New York. He was an extremely sincere man, and had an exceptional personality with a profound sense of humor enjoyed by many. Interment St. Patrick's Cemetery, Brookville, NY. In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in his memory to Bayville Fire Company, 258 Bayville Ave., Bayville, NY 11709 for all their love and support they have given to the family. He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
