John T. Jennings

It is with sadness we announce the passing into eternal life of John T. Jennings on January 17, 2019.
John was father to four children: Marian Hyer (Gary), Dr. John Jennings (Beth), Edward Jennings (Marcia) and Brian Jennings (Ann Marie), and proud Pop-Pop to his fourteen grandchildren: Gary Hyer Jr. (Allison), Brian Hyer, Katie Hyer, Dr. John D. Jennings (Alexandra), Jason Jennings, Erin Jennings, Tara Jennings, Rachel Jennings, Edward Jennings Jr., Thomas Jennings, Andrew Jennings, Clare Jennings, Mary Kate Jennings and Emily Jennings, and great grandfather to John Jennings and Grayson Jennings.
John was preceded in death by his wife Kathleen (nee Mc Donnell),  brothers Thomas, Tobias, and Edward Jennings. He is survived by his brother Patrick Jennings, sisters Theresa Hermansen, Bridget Spiess, and Angela Dunne.
Visitation will take place at The Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Head, NY, 11545.
Viewing - Monday, January 21    (2-4pm and 7-9pm).
The Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, January 22 at 10 AM
St. Paul the Apostle Church, 2534 Cedar Swamp Rd (Rte. 107), Brookville, NY 11545.
Interment at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Mayo Society of New York -  in memory of John T. Jennings.
