Miceli, Dr. Joseph B, most recently of Pt. Washington, who was born and raised in Brooklyn; yet lived most of his life in East Norwich and Glen Cove, died on Sunday, February 25
th
, in Bradenton, FL, at the age of eighty-nine. He practiced podiatry for almost forty years and owned and successfully operated a textile business in NY's garment district for more than two decades.
He was kind and generous to his five children; Janine, Joline, Lorana, Frank, and Maria; to their spouses, he was always nurturing and supportive; and to his seven grandchildren, selfless and caring. But, mostly, to his wife of sixty-six years, Constance, he was truly loving and a soul-mate for almost three-quarters of a century. He was a second father to some, a loyal friend to many: he will be truly missed by all.
Services will be held on Fri, Mar 9
th
, at the Whitting Funeral Home, in Glen Head, from 2-4 and 7-9. A mass will be held, on Sat, at 915 AM; at St Mary's church, Roslyn, a burial at Pinelawn Cemetery follows.
