Viscomi, Joseph Robert of Old Brookville, NY on May 13, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Maryanne. Loving father of Nicole Simoniello (Antonio) and Marissa Viscomi-Cohen (Lance). Cherished grandfather of Cara, Marlee, Ciana, Cade and Aria. Dear brother of Ralph (Camille) and Michael (Annie) and brother-in-law of Christine & Tim Burns and Roseann Kalb. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Joe was a kind and gentle man. He was loved and adored by everyone who crossed his path. His lighthearted sense of humor could bring a smile to anyone's face. Always selfless and generous, he was also incredibly sharp-minded and savvy; running the family business that he joined at the age of 16. Henry Street Liquors, his home away from home, is where he met the love of his life, Maryanne, who he was married to for 34 years. Together they raised two daughters and enjoyed a beautiful life filled with love, memorable vacations and Sunday dinners with extended family. Some of his passions included watching sci-fi and horror movies, building models, photography and fine dining. In recent years he very much enjoyed endless hours of cards and games with his five grandchildren who is completely adored. Joe will be greatly missed by all.
