Kathleen Lyons

Kathleen "Kathy" Lyons, beloved wife, mother, granny, and great-grandma, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on January 15, 2025. Born in England, Kathy was the cherished daughter of loving parents and grew up surrounded by her two sisters and many dear friends. At the age of 16, she moved to the United States, where she would begin the next chapter of her life, meeting the love of her life, William.

Kathy and William were married for 63 years, sharing a lifetime of memories, love, and companionship until William’s passing in 2016. Kathy is survived by their two children, Donald (Nancy) and Lisa Farrell, as well as her cherished grandchildren, Tyler and Thomas, and great-grandchildren, Madison and Mason.

Kathy was a woman of many passions. She loved to challenge herself with word searches, a favorite pastime she found both relaxing and engaging. She also adored her beloved dog, Peaches, and spent countless hours tending to her beautiful garden of flowers. Kathy’s joy was infectious—whether it was dancing with William, often being the first couple to take the floor at any occasion, or savoring a sweet treat of English candy.

Above all, Kathy was known for her kind heart and unwavering positivity. She had a gift for spreading joy wherever she went, and her warmth touched everyone who knew her. Kathy’s legacy of love, kindness, and family will forever be remembered, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Rest in peace, Kathy. You will always be our Number 1 Granny and a beloved matriarch in our hearts.
