Kyriaco "Charlie" Pappas

February 20, 1931 — September 10, 2024

Kyriaco "Charlie" Pappas, a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully in Glen Cove. Born in Brooklyn, Charlie's life was a vibrant tapestry of love, laughter, and music. He is survived by his loving wife Cleo, his devoted son Manny (Jayne), and his beloved daughter Demetria. Charlie was predeceased by his dear son Steven. Cherished Grandfather of Nicholas (Ashley), Sophia, Arianna, Michael (Liz), Jack, Ollie. Loving great grandfather of Vivian.

Charlie was a man who embraced life with a spirit as bold as his inner cowboy. Over the years, he became known for his heartfelt singing, a passion that brought joy to many. In his later years, Charlie found immense joy performing at the Glen Cove Senior Center, where his performances were a highlight for many.

Charlie’s presence was a gift to all who knew him, and his legacy of warmth, kindness, and music will forever resonate in our hearts. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and the community he touched with his soulful melodies and generous spirit.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

May he rest in peace, serenaded by the melodies of his own making.
