Maureen A. Giordano

GIORDANO – Maureen A., of Naples, FL, passed away on September 29, 2022, at the age of 96. Loving mother of Sharon Giordano Coleman, Suzanne Virginia Avery, Judy Giordano Sternberg, and Jill Matano. Treasured grandmother of Gordon Lee Avery (Kate), Anthony Lee Avery (Eileen), Lauren Avery Spear (Jon), Alexander Blood (Coco), Anne-Marie Jonas (Ace), Brendan Blood (Morgan), and Haley Paz (Luis). Cherished great-grandmother of Eleanor, Mary, Isabelle Grace, Lucas Anthony, Jonathan, River, Avery, Caroline, Margau, Shai, Baron, Orli, Beckett, Brinley, Ruth, Rafael, and Penelope. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her beloved parents, George and Grace Anner, her loving husband Anthony Giordano, and her dear brothers and sisters, George, Virginia Nixon, Grace, Rubert, and James.

Memorial Mass on November 18th, 2022, at St. Boniface Martyr Church in Sea Cliff, NY.

Burial of ashes will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Brookville, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Glaucoma Research Foundation.
