Michael Eric Puetzer

He was the beloved son of Mark Puetzer and Karen Burke and Christina and Mike Erman. Loving brother of John and Julia; step-brother of Brandon Erman. Cherished Grandson of Barbara and Eric Puetzer, Michael & Janet Straddeck and Erika Straddeck. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael was loved deeply by his friends and family, with much promise for a bright future. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, fearless outlook on life and a smile that could light up a room. Michael would do anything for his friends, and loved his family deeply, although it was difficult for him to show at times. Michael was passionate about football and played OL for Glen Cove HS and Stony Brook University. He received tremendous support and encouragement from his coaches and teammates. Michael was also passionate about the stock market and loved researching and trading stocks and aspired to work in this field one day. Although Michael struggled with life daily, he never gave up. Just before his death he had committed to intensive therapy and a full-time job. He was optimistic about the future and a new start in life. The day Michael passed a part of all of us died with him. He will remain in our hearts and memories for the rest of our lives.
