Nancy Palmer Giugliano

On Friday, November 10, 2017, Nancy Palmer Giugliano died peacefully, surrounded by her family.
An independent spirit, Nancy loved underdogs, misfits and outcasts.  She found beauty, meaning and dignity in the marginalized and the overlooked. Her far-ranging interests included outsider art, early American antiques, textile traditions from across the globe, and golf.  But her greatest passion was for her family and friends, whom she loved fiercely.
Nancy is survived by her husband and co-adventurer of 47 years, Carmine, her daughter, Luisa, her son, David, and grandchildren Ezekiel, Umashari, Talullah, and Elijah (with a fifth to arrive any day).
A wake will be held on Monday, November 13, 2017, at 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Avenue, Glen Head, New York.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Nancy's memory to the Sunrise Fund, which assists children struggling with cancer, which can be sent to Debbie Trezza, 60 Roy Drive Nesconset, NY 11767.
