Natasha Price

Natasha Zarembo Price passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Baptist Hospital of Miami with her family by her side- Lorne (husband), Christopher (son), Margaret (daughter-in-law), Caroline, Jennifer and Eliza (granddaughters) and Erin Moskal (Jenny's husband).

Natasha was born in February 1937 in Glen Cove, NY. She went through Catholic Grammar, High and College (Marymount Tarrytown) and received her Master's in Education from Queens College in Queens, NY. She taught in elementary public schools in Glen Cove City School District for 40 years- primarily 4th and 5th grade Math and ran a computer lab. Natasha married Lorne Price in 1959. They had bought their Glen Cove house in 1961 and their Ocean Reef Club house in 1996 and they split their year between both. Natasha retired from teaching in 1999 but never stopped being active and involved.

On Long Island Natasha was an active sailor and boater, and was involved in the Junior sailing program for Western LI Sound. She belonged to Sea Cliff Yacht Club and Sewanaka YC. She played tennis and pickleball and was a skier and traveler.

At Ocean Reef Natasha was a member and Board member of The Racquet Club as well as Pickleball Co-Cairperson, Cards Chairperson. For all her outstanding work for The Racquet Club she received the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2022.

Natasha was in the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 13-04 where she was Crew qualified and also Division 13 Education Officer.

Natasha was active in the Card Sound Sailing Club as a member of the Race Committee. She received the Hereshoff Award in 2019.

Natasha was a member of the Ocean Reef Catholic Congregation and was Altar Sacristan and Eucharistic Minister. She ran the bi-annual clothing drives for the Chapel and Racquet Club.

Natasha will have a Mass on June 8, 2024, at 11 AM at Saint Hyacinth Church, Glen Head, NY. Interment will be private.

Natasha will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
