Patricia D. Doran

Patricia Dolores Doran (née McDonough) passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on Dec. 28, 2022, at her home in Old Brookville, NY. Loving wife of the late John L. Doran. Beloved mother of Patricia (Farrell), John, Moira (late Donald), Chris (Kathryn), Kieran (Susan), and the late Joan. Cherished Grandmother of Moira, Patrick, Meghan, Shannon, Garrett, Charlotte, Will, Caroline, Grace, Liam and Luke.

Patricia was born on November 14, 1931, to Thomas and Catherine McDonough (née Fahey) in Brooklyn, NY. She attended St. Francis Xavier Academy and Hunter College, graduating with a BA in 1953. Patricia was an active member of St. Mary’s Church in Roslyn Harbor, NY. In 2013, she was honored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rockville Centre and awarded the St. Agnes Medal.

Visiting will be Wednesday Jan. 4 from 2-4 and 7-9PM at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545.

Funeral Mass on Thursday Jan. 5 at 10AM at St. Mary’s Church, Roslyn NY.

Internment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
