SCHMALZRIED, Paul W., of Glen Head, NY passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 56. Beloved husband of Claudia. Loving father of Paul & Carina. Cherished son of Paul & Joann. Adored brother of Steven & Mark. He is survived by many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Paul devoted his life to the Fire Department City of New York where he achieved the rank of Captain.

Visitation, Sunday, August 28, 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM at Whitting Funeral Home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545.
Service, Monday, August 29, 1 PM at Whitting Funeral Home, Glen Head, NY.

Private Cremation to follow.
