Peter Paul Truss

Truss, Peter P. of Glen Head, NY on Dec. 18, 2017.  At the age of 90.  A 69 year member of Great Neck Alert Fire Co., dedicated member of IBEW Local # 25, a WWII Army Veteran and an avid gardener.  Beloved husband of Fran.  Loving father of Sue Reuthe (Scott), Lynn Pember (Ed), Mark (Moira) and Karen Ellsworth (Matt).  Cherished grandfather of James, Catherine, Robbie, Andrew and Lauren and step grandfather of Mike, Chris and Ben; Great Grandfather of Esme and Step Great Grandfather of Morgan and Liam.  Dear brother of Bill (Dottie) and the late John Truss (Rita) and Mary Picardi (Julius).  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  Visiting Thurs. 7-9 pm and Fri. 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Whitting Funeral Home 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY  11545 www.whitting.com Funeral Mass 10 am Sat. at St. Mary's, Roslyn, NY.  Interment All Saints Cemetery, Great Neck, NY.  Contributions may be made to Alert Fireman's Volunteer Benevolent Association, 68 Steamboat Rd., Great Neck, NY  11024
