Prudence Hurley

Hurley, Prudence T. of Sea Cliff on October 29th 2013 in her 86th year. Predeceased by her soul-mate and husband Charles; loving mother of Lucinda and Kathleen Stannish (Victor) and cherished grandmother of Michael and James Stannish. Beloved sister and sister-in-law of Jay "Bud" and Barbara Truesdell, dear aunt to the Truesdell, Hurley and Peck families, and "Auntie Prue" to many long time Sea Cliff friends. An active Sea Cliff resident she loved meeting and greeting friends in the village - her eyes lighting up in recognition. She was a life long member of Saint Luke's Episcopal Church and prior to her illness she was active in the Sea Cliff Village Museum, Sea Cliff Civic Association, Mutual Concerns, a member of the Hempstead Harbor Club and Sea Cliff High School and Dalton "Class of 45". In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Prudence's memory to Cure Alzheimers Fund (curealz.org) or the Sea Cliff Village Museum P.O. Box 72, Sea Cliff, NY 11579.
