Robert Rosborg

ROSBORG - Robert (Bob) passed away in the evening hours of October 2nd surrounded by his wife, children, and brother. He fought a courageous two year battle with cancer. Bob, a native of Bayville, NY, was a 1975 graduate of Locust Valley High School and attendee of the New York Institute of Technology. He was past president and member of the Bayville Fire Company for over 45 years. More than that, however, he was a devoted husband to his wife of 40 years, Linda; outstanding father to his two children, Mark (Stephanie) and Erika (Matthew); a much-loved grandpa to his three grandsons, Robert, Jackson, and Wyatt; and brother to Eric (Elizabeth). His best times were spent enjoying a beer on his boat, travelling with Linda, tending to his backyard garden, and being in the company of those he loved most. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Elizabeth and Harold, and his brother, Christopher.

Firematic Services Thursday, Oct. 6, at 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.

Funeral Service Friday, Oct. 7, at 10:00 AM at Locust Valley Reformed Church, Locust Valley, NY.

Burial to follow at Bayville Cemetery, Bayville, NY.
