Robin Patricia Halleran

Halleran, Robin P. AKA Patricia Malloy on July 27, 2016. Granddaughter of Pat Malloy and Dolores Borer of Back Road Hill. Daughter of Red Malloy and Fritzie Russell Malloy of Glen Cove. Robin was born in Glen Cove. Beloved wife of George Halleran (Deceased), devoted mother of Robin Halleran Miles, Megan Halleran Donovan and Georgia Halleran Filasky. Loving grandmother of Bailey Halleran Donovan, Graham Halleran Miles, Chase Halleran Filasky, and Dylan Halleran Miles. She is the dear sister of Tommy Malloy of Glen Head, Peggy Beam of Florida and the late John Malloy. She attended St. Boniface School grades 1-6, Glen Cove Elementary school, and graduated from Glen Cove High School in 1954. She attended SUNY at Oswego obtaining a BS in Education and obtained a MS in Education from LIU. Robin married George Halleran in 1960. She was an outstanding teacher in the Jericho School District for 40 years. Many children in Jericho were afforded a very special experience having her for their kindergarten teacher. She also contributed significantly to the development of curriculum and was certainly involved in the early development of the Jericho School District. She loved equally to teach and learn.
