Shannon Eileen Ryan

Shannon Eileen Ryan, 31 of Bayville NY on May 5, 2020. Beloved daughter of William and Renee. Cherished sister of Tierney and sister-in-law to Adam and the Best Aunt ever to Jack and Clark.
Shannon's true passion was cooking. After attending Stony Brook, she decided to pursue a career in the culinary arts. She was a graduate of Le Cordon Bleu, London and the Institute of Culinary Education, NY. Chef Shannon worked in many distinguished restaurants in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Including Traif, King Noodle, OTB and Kindred. Shannon left friends behind in every kitchen she worked in. She loved cooking on the holidays and hosting July 4 BBQs. Shannon was a beautiful, funny and loving person, everyone who knew her is the better for it.
She is survived by her Granny Mary and Great Aunt Joan. Aunts, uncles and many cousins. Lifelong friend Katie (George) honorary nieces Emilia and June. Shannon had many true friends and Kindred spirits. A special mention to Alex T, Kelly, Emily, Amelia and Matt. She loved you.
She is predeceased by her grandparents Jack and Eileen Ryan. Interment will be private at LV Cemetery's Memorial Garden. When time allows, a celebration of her life will be held.
