Silvio Gomez

Silvio Gomez was a proud man who loved his trinkets and knicknacks. He was excited to bring his family to America from Colombia and make a life for them.

He always had a smile on his face. He worked at North Shore Hospital for many years and volunteered there for years after retirement. Silvio loved to go out and get the morning paper. While out he would spend hours shopping and socializing with friends.

He leaves behind his wife, Maria. Sister Lucy, His four children: Claudia, Jose, Gloria, and Carol. His son in laws Bruce, George and Victor. Daughter in law Ann. Grandchildren: Allison, Talia, Jayson, Victor, Danielle, Maddison, Dannica, Mila. Great Grandchildren: Holly, Sophia, Dominic, Olivia and Donovan. countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will take place on Saturday May 11th from 2pm-5pm at Whitting funeral home, 300 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY 11545.
