Stephen Michael Clancy, of Sea Cliff, New York, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 19th, 2021, in the comfort of his home, surrounded by his loving family.
Stephen was born in Jackson Heights, Queens, to the late Stephen Francis Clancy and Eleanor Irene Clancy on March 8th, 1948. After serving in the Marine Corps for nearly two years during Vietnam, Stephen graduated from Stonehill College where he received a degree in Economics. Stephen was a diehard Yankees, Giants, Villanova and Boston College fan. He loved music, especially the Eagles, was an avid guitar player, sneaker buff and was always well informed on the latest news and current events. He was a loving and proud husband, father and grandfather who never wavered in his generosity.
Stephen is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 46 years, Sally Ann Clancy; two daughters, two sons and seven grandchildren; daughter, Brett Clancy and her husband Mark Nagle of Chadds Ford, PA and their children Blair, Charlie and Julia; son, Evan and his wife Joanna of Glen Head, NY and their children James and Conor; son, Craig and his wife Cate of Manhattan and their children Chloe and Cole; and daughter, Blair Clancy of Manhattan.
