Buckhout, Virginia M. (Ginny) of Glen Head, N.Y. passed away in peace at home at the age of 98. Her bright blues eyes and smile captivated the hearts of everyone she met. She was born in Windham, Ohio, 1921. Virginia graduated from Kent State University with a major in Nutrition and a minor in Chemistry. After graduating, she worked in a laboratory at the Brush Beryllium Company in Cleveland supporting the war effort. In 1945, she married and moved to Long Island. Virginia was a very active member of the Glenwood Presbyterian Church serving several offices and singing in the choir, which gave her great pleasure. Ginny loved to travel. Skiing, golfing, swimming and gardening were her favorite activities. She is survived by her children, Mark Cetrone (Helen), Ellen Bock (Paul), Robert McAllister, Jean Sarner (Gary). Ginny was blessed with three grandchildren and two great-grand children. As well as all the Health Care professionals, who helped during the last part of her Life's Journey. "Forever in our Hearts!" A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.
