Vivian Schachter

Vivian Schachter of Glen Cove (formerly of Glen Head), passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Melvin, loving mother of Saul, Marjorie (Richard Geismar), and Louise. Adoring grandmother of Jenny. Proud product of Brooklyn, New York, Vivian loved her family (which included her wonderful nieces and nephews), ice-skating, and Mallomars.

Interment is private. The family will be sitting shiva at the home of Marjorie Schachter/Richard Geismar, 64 Park Place, Sea Cliff, New York: Tuesday, April 9, 1-8 pm; Wednesday, April 10, 1-8 pm.
