WAITING, Warren Page, of Glen Cove passed away on Jan. 11 one day short of his 93rd birthday. Warren is survived by his children Michele (Stan), Charles, Diane (Carl), and MaryEllen. 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Carl (Jennifer), Stephen (Katie), Brian (Alyssa) and 6 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen of 60 years.
Warren was born in Bayside to Charles and Frances.
Visitation will be held at Whitting Funeral Home on Jan. 16, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Boniface Martyr Church in Sea Cliff on Jan. 17 at 10 am. Burial will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.
If you knew Warren, you had the pleasure of knowing the comedian of the family and a passionate, family-first husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather (amongst many other titles/roles). He was also a self-proclaimed GM of the Mets/Giants/Islanders.. Hit him with any question and he'd know the stats of every Mets pitcher and he could never let it go that the Dodgers moved out of Brooklyn.
We all always treasure the time we had with him he was a special person.
