Sandra L. Fallon Woisin passed away on September 23, 2021. “Sandy” was born in Manhasset NY on June 7th, 1950 to Thomas and Leonora Fallon and was raised in Great Neck, NY, and attended the Great Neck Public Schools, and the Cathedral School of St. Mary’s in Garden City and graduated in 1968. Sandy also attended Post College and Quinnipiac College in Connecticut. And then in 1978 married the Love of her life David and resided in Dix Hills NY. Soon after Sandy began her career as an accounts payable representative for Henry Schein which she remained working up until present for 43 years. As if her career didn’t keep her busy enough, Sandy had a lifetime love of all things related to equestrian activities, and was herself an accomplished equestrian. This trait was most certainly inherited from both of her parents, who were deeply involved in the equestrian business. Sandy was quite literally born on a horse, and began riding and competing when she was 9yrs. old. In addition to multiple riding competitions throughout her life, she also managed the family business, Glen Head Horse Farm and Horse Shows, and began teaching lessons, showing and training horses at a young age. Riding camps, training, shows, adult education and competitions were her passion. Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Leonora, and her Loving Husband David and her brother-in-law Eugene. Sandy is survived by her Loving Sister Bonnie, her brother-in-laws Joe Rafferty , Edward Woisin, Kenny Woisin, Kenny’s wife Neva, and sister-in-law Trudy as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. And her dog Dixie. Funeral services to be held at St. Aloyius Church in Great Neck on Saturday, October 2nd at 9:45am.
